Also show name for conda environments created in the workspace

I have two workspace conda environments namely .conda and .condaTesting as well as a number of virtual environments named .venv, etc..

As you can see from the image, the names of the workspace level conda enviornments are wrong.
As a result its very confusing to tell what conda env has been selected.

I see the problem. The workspace level conda environments are named .conda and .condaTesting, but they are shown in the image as base and baseTesting. This is because the CONDA_DEFAULT_ENV environment variable is set to base. This means that when you open a new terminal, you will be automatically switched to the base environment.

To fix this, you can either:

Set the CONDA_DEFAULT_ENV environment variable to the name of your workspace level conda environment. For example, you could set it to .conda.
Use the conda activate command to manually switch to your workspace level conda environment before you start working.
Here are the steps to set the CONDA_DEFAULT_ENV environment variable:

Open a terminal.
Run the following command:
export CONDA_DEFAULT_ENV=.conda
Close the terminal and reopen it.
Now, when you open a new terminal, you will be automatically switched to the .conda environment.

Here are the steps to manually switch to your workspace level conda environment:

Open a terminal.
Run the following command:
conda activate .conda
This will switch you to the .conda environment.

Thanks, but that's not the case. in Jupyter extension we identify such conda environments and display the names correctly.

At least when displaying it, we can show the name. Even though while activating or using the environments, these have no names.
