using a register user form for missing data

    Hi,
    I’ve got a register form set up with lots of fields – all of which are working perfectly.

    I have a script in a custom plugin that allows a user to be registered initially with just an email address, however I would like to show the same form to that user when they log in for the first time – to prompt them to answer all the other questions. Is there a way to set a form to just update a user rather than register a new user with the form?

    Hello there,

    Thanks for reaching out and explaining your setup! FluentForms Pro provides both User Registration and User Update features. However, these two actions cannot be combined on the same form. The registration and update processes are handled separately, so you’ll need to create an individual form specifically for user updates. Hence, I assume you can not achieve the use case with a single form.
