    Actually, that’s code you want to place in a separate plugin file or, if necessary, in your theme functions.php file.

    That said, I’ve got a beta of the next version that is stable for single-site (not yet test on multi-site) installs. It provides you with a setting option to place jQuery in the header, as well as better filters for adding others. So a checkbox clicked should solve your issue!

    If you’d like to try that version, I’d appreciate your feedback. I’m swamped at the moment, but I’m hoping to have it released around the same time as WordPress 4.3 (mid August).

    I’ve released this new version that includes an option to keep jquery in the header (Settings > Scripts to Footer). If you need further help, please open a new issue. I’m closing this one.
