Shanxi Province Adjusts Coal Power Capacity Price: 165 Yuan per Kilowatt-Year

To Municipal Development and Reform Commissions, State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Co., Ltd., Shanxi Local Power Grid Co., Ltd., Shanxi Electricity Trading Center Co., Ltd., and relevant market entities:

In accordance with the spirit of documents such as the "Notice on Establishing a Coal Power Capacity Pricing Mechanism" (Fagai Price [2023] No. 1501) issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration, and the "Notice on Improving the Generation-Side Capacity Pricing Mechanism" (Fagai Price [2026] No. 114), starting from January 1, 2026, the coal power capacity price standard in Shanxi Province is adjusted to 165 yuan/kW·year (tax inclusive). Other matters shall continue to be implemented in accordance with the "Notice on Matters Related to the Coal Power Capacity Pricing Mechanism in Shanxi Province" (Jin Fa Gai Shang Pin Fa [2023] No. 463) issued by the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Shanxi Provincial Energy Bureau, and the National Energy Administration Shanxi Regulatory Office, as well as the "Notice on Improving the Allocation and Settlement Method of Coal Power Unit Capacity Charges" (Jin Fa Gai Shang Pin Fa [2024] No. 87) issued by the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission. Where national regulations specify otherwise, such regulations shall prevail.
