The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam announced that, in order to stabilize the domestic energy market and alleviate the pressure from international oil price fluctuations, it has decided to suspend the environmental protection tax on gasoline, aviation kerosene, and diesel from now until April 15.

This policy covers mainstream fuel categories in the country, aiming to reduce end-user fuel costs and ensure stable fuel supply for both daily life and industrial use. This is another emergency measure by Vietnam to address global energy market volatility, following the reduction of fuel import tariffs and the use of the price stabilization fund. It will directly benefit domestic transportation, logistics, aviation, and downstream petrochemical industries, stabilizing market expectations.
