On April 11 local time, the Qatari Ministry of Transport issued a statement saying that maritime navigation for all types of vessels in the Persian Gulfwill fully resume from April 12, with transit hours from 06:00 to 18:00 daily . The statement also specified that vessels holding valid fishing licenses are exempt from the time restrictions and may operate around the clock.

The Qatari Ministry of Transport urged all vessel operators to strictly comply with the relevant navigation directives, and to ensure that all safety equipment is fully supplied and functioning before and during voyages, in order to fully safeguard navigation safety.

So far, Iran, which exercises de facto control over the Strait of Hormuz, has not issued an official statement on whether it coordinated or communicated with Qatar regarding this resumption of navigation. Meanwhile, the United States and Iran are holding talks in Pakistan aimed at promoting an end to the conflict situation involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
