Circuit pollution disrupts facilities; Mexican Pemex shuts down large refinery

According to IIR Energy, affected by power outages impacting some public utilities, Pemex temporarily partially shut down the Salina Cruz refinery on May 11. The refinery has a daily processing capacity of 325,000 barrels.

Pemex will conduct a comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the facility equipment, with a provisional restart date set for May 14.
