On June 3, many netizens reported via short videos that an explosion suddenly occurred during the handling of a fire at a factory in Suzhou, Jiangsu. The footage showed a factory explosion during firefighting operations, with flames soaring into the sky and thick smoke filling the air, attracting public attention.

In response to the online reports, the authorities of Luzhi Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou, issued an accident bulletin: at 11:54 on that day, a fire suddenly broke out at a waste recycling warehouse in the area, and the fire brigade arrived at the scene immediately to carry out firefighting operations. Currently, the open fire at the scene has been completely extinguished. Following an environmental inspection, the accident has not caused environmental pollution.

Following an on-site check, the accident caused a total of 2 people to suffer burns. The injured have been urgently sent to medical institutions for treatment, are in stable condition, and are not in life-threatening danger.
